18 promising will lead UP in National Skill Competition, know what is the whole matter


18 youth trained by the UP Skill Development Mission will lead the state in the National Skill Competition to be held in Delhi from January 6 to 10. Efforts to hone their skills are on on a war footing. All these youths had performed well in the regional (North) skill competition. These youngsters were successful in winning 10 gold and eight silver medals in the competition held in Chandigarh last month. This has been the best performance ever. Now all of them are busy preparing for the national competition.

At present, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has allocated a target of training 38,286 youth for the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Kendras. After the Corona transition, this allocation has happened in Uttar Pradesh for the first time in the country. One can register on the web portal (UPSDM.gov.in) for training under the Skill Development Mission Scheme. Regional in-charge of UP Skill Development Mission Prashant Katiyar said that all the training centers have been targeted to provide technical education to the youth.
