Facebook, which has recently been introduced under the name Meta. On behalf of this Meta company, Facebook Messenger has given an amazing feature like Google Pay, which will be known as Split Payments. With the help of the new feature, users will be able to make easy money transactions between their friends and family members. Meaning users will be able to transfer equal amount of money to many people at once. Recently the split payment feature has been rolled out in Google Pay. The company claims that this will help in payment of restaurant and house rent.
How Facebook Messenger's Split Payments feature will work
The way to use the Split feature of Facebook Messenger is quite simple. Users have to click on the Get Started button of the group chat. Or you have to click on the Payment Hub button of the Messenger app. In this way you will be able to divide the money among the people of the group. Meaning if you want to divide Rs 12,000 equally among 5 people, then users will be able to transfer Rs 2500 in equal amount by selecting the names of the people from the contact list.
New feature will be implemented in other countries soon
At present, this feature is for the US, whose testing has been completed. This feature will not be implemented in India. Also, it is not known when Meta is implementing this feature in other countries. Apart from the Splitting feature from Meta, a feature that will be rolled out soon.
